The name of the Kleynod brand is derived from the German word Kleinode and the Polish word Kleinote, which means treasure. Kleynods are special symbols of state power, symbols of the power of the hetmans of Ukraine. The Kyiv Watch Factory is the first and only Ukrainian company engaged in the serial production of watches. It was founded in 1997 in Kiev.
